I'm a writer. I'm an innovator. I'm a motivator, an instigator, and rarely a procrastinator. I'm a raconteur and a provacateur, according to my Moo Cards, at least. I love nothing more then putting a whole group of people together in a room and watching what happens. Chaos may ensue, but it's usually the type of chaos that springs forth amazing ideas and unparalleled creativity. I give my friends all the credit for this sort of awesomeness.
I've had various jobs over the years, the most well-known being my 4+ years at Google. I've also been a freelance writer for this entire time, first navigating the murky journalistic waters in Atlanta and now am learning the lay of the editorial world here in San Francisco.
I have a personal website (ok, I have a few) that I refuse to refer to as a blog since it just ISN'T. (That, and the fact that I started it long before Blogging was called Blogging so I maintain that it's a website until I am proven otherwise).
I love writing about food, drink, entertaining, relationships, and have some of the best bad-date stories you've ever heard (and many more you never will). I've written everything from an article on Laparoscopic Hysterectomies to "Why Drunk Texting is Killing Drunk Dialing". I love the written word and tend to overuse both parenthesis and alliteration.
There's always a great story to tell, and I can't wait to get started...
